I remember the opening to company of heroes 1 so fondly, I get it was ripping saving private ryan but it was honestly one of the best video game d-day scenes ever made especially for the time. Why can’t we have something like that? We’re in Italy why don’t we capitalize on a beach landing or a paratroop mission with intensity why only 1 seemingly good trailer and the rest has had no animation no budget nothing. Showing just gameplay isn’t going to get people to play you have to get them interested with an awesome historic battle or something imo.

Defo recommend CoH3 now. Got about 550 hours in it and 1500 hours between CoH 1 and 2. Mostly a multiplayer dude. I think the theory crafting, build orders, and strategising that you can do in CoH3 is much deeper than CoH2, and the tactics more varied. It's also just a nice change of pace from 2, slightly slower at first but more focused on aggression as the match goes on. Whereas 2 is fast at first but can often head towards a stalemate. The factions generally feel less gimmicky and have more options for dealing with different enemy strategies. It launched in a poor state, but their updates have actually taken community feedback on board about balance, features, graphics, sound, community maps. Now that they've parted ways from their publisher they release balance patch notes a few weeks early, ask for feedback, and tweak things which is awesome. Defo encourage people to give the game a go, it feels fresh after playing CoH2 for so long. Also people talk about value vs content a lot in the comments. If you were there from the beginning in CoH2 then you spent £45 for the game, £20 for USF and OKW (possibly more actually), £10 for UKF, £20 for the 2nd campaign, and more for the various doctrines. Around £100, which was a lot more money then than now. £50 is reasonable to me for a similar amount of content, and especially £25 this weekend. The production value is higher in parts, like the detail of the campaign maps and models, and lower in others like cutscenes and atmosphere. The value judgement of quality in that regard is down to the observer, but for a gameplay focused guy I prefer CoH3.

after 1k hours of coh2 it feels really good to play coh3. A lot changed in 1 year its fun now

For anyone says " Coh1 much better Coh2 much better. I still remembered when i was pre order coh2. Yes first launched was no as expected like coh1. .many features does not have in coh1, players complained about graphics to shady and brown. Performance pc was not good. After 10 years they improve so much balance yes people still argue, performance keep better but still have bug splat. I have 8k hour in coh2... Mostly play multiplayer. When coh3 come out i know...this game was unfinish, even myself give a bad review after they keep update.. coh3 much improve i dont say much better but keep improve time to time. Now i have 900 hours in coh3.. So people out there compare coh which is better ?coh1 is much better than coh2 and coh3. Dont compare game 10 years in development but games in 1 year development.

So glad i tried the free weekend. Now campaign is just boring. I play COH for the battles......now this. Very upset. what is wrong with giving your customers options? City battles are few because AI don't garrison.........

When you update new patch on console?

Horrendous in post-launch. Tried the game again, saw commander DLC's and the same state of the game as launch.. feels like I'm battling the UI more than actually playing. Every major patch has been a cash shop/DLC push. Uninstalled when I see the new commanders LMAO

Unfortunately they did not give me the possibility of returning my money, because I hoped that this would improve. The starting game was crap not comparable to COH, and COH 2. Of course they both have "pronouns" remove that name before you continue damaging the brand

How good is the game at remapping unit hot keys, when using the WASD camera option?

As a coh player who has played coh regularly since 2006 i hope coh3 gets more and more visual upgrades to make it resemble its predecessors more. Among other wishlist things...

I like when game trailer really show the real gameplay, they even include the FPS drop! They cant afford to get good marketing team for their expensive ass game 🤦‍♂

We want the American army campaign, we want the Russian army campaign, we want the British army campaign, and we want the German Wehrmacht campaign. I am not a fan of the multiplayer phase. Unfortunately, the previous part is much better because of the diversity, and this part is negative because of the limitations in the armies.

But.... why? Besides this "Game Trailer" is just some gameplay with some text. Who cares about a game trailer over a year after launch?
